Lab notes

In the lab, I manipulated DNA, cultured cells, ran experiments of all kinds, and collected and analysed data.  Somewhere down the line, I realised that what I had perceived as a wall containing the lab was a permeable bidirectional membrane; I had just been ignorant of what passed through it.

I attended an exhibition where a conversation with the exhibiting artists, all women, got me thinking about how many hats women are expected to wear. So I started drawing them. All the hats we must wear are ruining our hair.
